切片機在開機前，要對限位開關、壓力、安 全指示燈、氣動安 全控制桿以及刀片擋板等進行檢查，檢查沒有問題后才能接通電源，安 全聯鎖裝置，要經常進行檢查，是否能夠正常工作。切片機運轉時，不能進行清潔、檢修及維護保養工作不能打開安 全防護門，移動光電管。如要進行這些工作，應切斷設備電源，讓設備處于斷電狀態，并掛上警示標志。

切片機翻料臂卸料位置如果出現卡料現象，應先拔掉翻料臂上的氣管，然后再進行檢查，排除故障，設備出現問題后，不能擅自處理，應請人員進行處理。切片機更換刀片時，應按照規定操作來進行，壓力要確認已經被放空了，操作完成后，要清掃作業現場，清理機器設備，還要進行日常的維護保養。開啟切片機主機電源，打開開關，利用箱體溫度設置按鈕設置切片機切片時所需的溫度，這時溫度顯示窗口會同步顯示設置的溫度。

如果想要防止切片機的參數被更改，可以將鍵盤鎖定，通過控制面板上的鍵盤鎖定按鈕。按下按鈕5秒鐘左右，當時間窗口中的兩個點停止閃爍時，就表示鍵盤已經被鎖定了，想要解鎖方法同上。切片機再次開機前，應檢查切片機內是否有積水，如有應處理干凈后再開機。切片機如果需要長時間使用，那么可將其夜間的溫度調零下十度以下，這樣有利于保護切片機。
